Licensed Trade
Success Training ensures that high standards of best practice are met across the industry and to this end provide qualifications such as those listed below from both the BIIAB and SQA. These awards apply to licensees that sell alcohol for consumption both on and off the premises.
From September 2009 all staff working within the licensed premises must undergo a mandatory 2 hour customer focused training course and Licensees must provide proof of delivery when requested by the Licensed Standards Officer.

- Level 2 National Certificate for Door Supervisors (Scotland)
- Level 3 Certificate in Licensed Hospitality
- Level 3 Diploma in Licensed Hospitality
- Level 2 National Certificate for Personal License Holders
- Level 2 Certificate for Licensees (Drug Awareness)
- Level 2 National Certificate for Licensed Retail
- Level 1 Award in Responsible Alcohol Retailing
- National Certificate for Designated Premises Supervisors
- Award in Conflict Management
- Award in Beer and Cellar Quality
- Professional Bar Person's Qualification (Customer and Drinks Service)
- Scottish Licensee's Certificate (For all other licenses and Off-sales)
- Scottish Certificate for Licensing Board Members
- Scottish Certificate for Licensing Standards Officer
